What is Hi Note?
Hi Notes is the coolest way of communicating with the other members in Batchmates.com.
How do I send hi note to someone?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your email id and password.
- View the member’s profile either by searching or by clicking on his name listed in members’ list in institution(s), or your network, or any other place.
- Click on “Say Hi” option below the person’s profile photo.
- All hi notes received by the member is displayed, with a textbox to write a note on top.
- Write your message and click on “Submit”
How do I know if someone has sent me a Hi Note?
Whenever a Batchmates.com member sends you a Hi Note, a notification mail is sent to your email address with which you are registered in the site. Clicking on the link in the mail you can land directly in your hi notes page(after login) and read the Hi Note.
How do I reply to a Hi Note?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your email id and password.
- Click on Hi Notes from the top navigation bar.
- Your Hi Notes page displays all notes received by you.
- Click on Reply link below the hi note you wish to reply to.
- A text area opens up, write your message and click on Submit button when you are done.
How do I delete Hi Note(s)?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your email id and password.
- Click on Hi Notes from the top navigation bar.
- To delete a single hi note, simply click on the Delete button to the right of the particular hi note.
- To delete multiple hi notes, select the notes by checking the checkboxes to the left of the hi notes and click on the Delete Notes button on the top.
- You can select all notes in a page by selecting the checkbox beside the Delete Notes button and then clicking the said button.
I have sent a hi note to a person, but I want to delete that note. How can I?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your email id and password.
- View the member’s profile.
- Click on the Hi Notes tab in the profile, or click on Say Hi link below the profile picture.
- Locate the hi note sent by you.
- Click on the Delete button against the hi note.
I keep getting junk Hi Notes from several members. How can I block that?
- Login to Batchmates.com using your email id and password.
- Go to the member’s profile either by searching or by clicking on the sender’s name from your hi notes page.
- Click on the “Block Member” option below the person’s profile photo.
- You will not receive any mails/hi notes in Batchmates.com from the person unless you unblock the member again.
